Tuberose Aromatic Balm
A creamy and mellow floral, the scent of tuberose was believed by the Victorians to be so potently erotic that it could induce spontaneous orgasms in young, inexperienced women. A symbol of Victorian decadence, the delicate and sweet white flowers were seen as symbols of dangerous love and used in bouquets to communicate seduction and primordial passion.
An all-natural and clean emollient for the skin, coconut oil is uniquely restorative because it is particularly high in anti-inflammatory and cell regenerating linoleic acid and lauric acid that regenerates cells and repairs damaged tissue. Lauric acid also has anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory properties and can improve texture and tone by increasing cellular turnover and stimulating collagen. High in antioxidants, coconut is a useful oil cleanser, makeup remover, can be used on scarring and stretch marks, and under eyes to reduce environmental stress and aging.
Scent of tuberose solid is activated when it is applied to skin. When just smelling the jar, the scent may at first seem very light and non-distinct.
