Large and decadent 1970's 14k gold triple strand bracelet with carnelian, quartz, lapis, rose quartz, tiger's eye, and other semi precious stone scarabs. The scarab is an ancient symbol of spontaneous creation and rebirth. In ancient Egypt Scarab amulets were used to protect the deceased in the afterlife and a scarab talisman provided the living wearer with defenses against evil and bad luck and a confidence in the certain knowledge of reincarnation.
