Lemongrass Essential Oil

Ways to use:

– Add 10 drops to a diffuser at home for aromatherapy stress relief and to mitigate fatigue.

– Add 5 drops to a bath.

– A couple of drops blended with white vinegar and water makes a great natural anti-bacterial cleaning solution.

– Undiluted lemongrass can burn or injure the skin so for many cosmetic and medicinal uses, it's recommended to blend with a carrier oil. Mix 2 drops for every 1 teaspoon of a carrier oil such as grapeseed oil, sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, olive oil or coconut oil. Once diluted, the mixture can be used topically to repel insects, clear up athlete's foot, to relax tight muscles and tendons or soothe pulled muscles or arthritic joints

– A couple of drops mixed with a carrier oil such as coconut oil massaged into the abdomen and chest is said to relieve indigestion and heartburn. Can also be applied in coconut oil to the back of the neck, chest, and the bottoms of the feet to help fight infections causing fever.

– Blend a few drops with witch hazel or saline to flush wounds.

– Lemongrass is a natural diuretic, adding a drop to a glass of plain water can help fight fluid retention and flush toxins.
