Description
A thick, vintage, sterling silver chain with an interesting link and a trio of charms for protection and luck – the sign of the corna or sign of the horns is used to ward off bad luck and the malocchio or evil eye, one of the most ancient superstitions in Italy. The symbol is given with the fingers pointing down to seek protection in unlucky situations, the Mediterranean equivalent of knocking on wood. The fish is an ancient symbol of good luck and the sterling silver and turquoise Naja came to the New World from the Moors of Spain, who incorporated the crescent design into their horse's bridles to protect from the evil eye.
