Description
A string of deep green mid-century jade beads strung on a gold filled chain with an antique gold filled pansy locket embellished with paste stones. During the Victorian era, when displays of affection and emotion during a courtship were frowned upon, pansies were placed into small bouquets of herbs and flowers and given by an admirer to convey feelings of love or affection.
