The Song of Solomon is an aromatherapeutic perfume oil and spot facial oil. The base of the oil is pure, precious prickly pear seed oil from a women-owned and operated collective in Morocco. A veritable liquid gold, prickly pear is rich in protein, essential fatty acids, and vitamins E and K and transforms the skin by refining and tightening pores, reducing redness and inflammation, brightening under the eyes, lightening dark spots, brightening skin tone and restoring skin's elasticity.

The lavender grows at high elevations in the French Alps and is harvested and distilled by a female owned floral farm in Nice whose workers and apprentices are partially hired from a local school for troubled youth, sent to the farm for emotional healing.

We chose lavender oil because of its versatility. Used to treat an array of skin conditions and maladies for thousands of years, lavender is anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antimicrobial making it a fantastic tool to combat eczema, dermatitis, and acne. Calming and grounding to the senses, the scent of lavender also has anti-depressive qualities and is used extensively in aromatherapy to mitigate anxiety, headache, insomnia, and mental exhaustion.

This delivery comes in a rainbow-hued perfume based on ancient clay vessels and unguentaria, handmade in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Hand thrown by ceramicist Emma Rose Campbell, each flacon is individually crafted using local New Mexican clay and glazes, and fired at more than 2000 degrees to create a lustrous and pearlescent glass-like finish.
