Shipping, Returns, and FAQ's
Shipping Policies
All orders are processed within 24-72 hours of receipt. Orders of $100 or more ship with free standard ground shipping within the domestic contiguous United States. For orders under $100, we charge a flat rate shipping & handling fee of $10. Ground orders will arrive in 3-8 business days. Expedited shipping options are available – $45 for overnight, $25 for 2-day, $15 for 3-day – and must be placed by 12PM EST or will ship the following business day. For Hawaii, Alaska, and US territories, we ship with a flat rate of $15 via Priority Mail. For international shipping, please contact us at info@kindredblack.com. Please note that customs and duty charges may apply and are at the discretion of the customs agents in your country. We are not responsible for the cost of duties on international shipments.
Return Policy
We honor a 14 day return policy provided items are returned in the same condition they were received and are in their original packaging. Opened apothecary goods, custom sized, custom order, and made to order jewelry, sexual wellness goods, undergarments, and all items marked as final sale are non-returnable. Please contact us directly to obtain an approval code before returning any merchandise. From the date that the approval code is received, goods must be received by Kindred Black within 10 days. Upon receipt of merchandise we will issue a refund to your original form of payment within 72 hours. All shipping costs are non-refundable. Should you receive a product that is damaged or defective please contact us within 5 days of receiving your order. For any promotions or gift with purchases, if original order is returned without the free merchandise, item value will be deducted from refund. Sale Policies
All items marked "final sale" or discounted to 50% or more off of the original price cannot be returned or exchanged and are final sale. We offer a one-time price adjustment on full-price merchandise that has been discounted within seven days of purchase. Items not purchased at full price are ineligible for price adjustments. Discount codes cannot be combined with other codes and promotions.
Gifts & Gift Cards
We are always happy to accommodate packages being mailed as gifts. Should you wish to send an order as a gift please contact us at support@kindredblack.com and we will be happy to give your purchase special attention including a handwritten gift enclosure. Online gift cards are available for purchase here.
Vintage & One-of-A-Kinds
All of our one-of-a-kind, vintage, and antique items have been professionally cleaned and are ready to wear or use. For clothing, we have included a size estimation and flat measurements. Please make sure to measure against a similar item in your closet to see if those dimensions will work. We're also happy to answer any questions that you may have before you buy at support@kindredblack.com.
We aim to source pre-owned, one-of-kind clothing, homegoods, accessories, and jewelry that are in excellent condition, but many items do show some pre-exisiting love. We try to represent any flaws or markings in pictures and descriptions.
Most items marked "Found by Kindred Black" are a one-of-a-kind item for us and there is only a single piece available. We recommend a "move it or lose it" policy when it comes to these pieces.
Packaging
All of our packaging, from shipping boxes and parcel tape to wrapping paper, stationary and hangtags is plastic free, made from 100% post consumer waste, and is recyclable and biodegradable. Our signature wrapping is 100% PCW and is printed near our office with vegetable and soy inks. Occasionally we receive a shipment from one of our designers that contains plastic, and if that happens, we don't remove it before shipping it to you. We're constantly looking for ways to reduce our footprint and will continue to work with our brands and suppliers to reduce packaging as much as possible.
