Beyond the Glass
Everything we create traces its origins to the living landscape. We are never entirely separate from the earth. Even indoors, we sit among its transformed forms – wood, glass, linen, cotton, steel. Wood that is warm beneath our hands. Stone still holding the memory of mountains. Light moving across a room, telling us where we are in the day, and birdsong drifting through curtains bowed inward with the breeze. The greenery beyond our windows reminds us of an ancient bond that has never been broken.
This is why we invite fragments of the landscape into our homes and routines, the reconnection that happens through atmosphere and ritual. Oils pressed from seeds and fruits. Resins gathered from trees. Flowers distilled into scent. Daily practices that keep us in conversation with the living world, even when we are surrounded by walls.
