Description
Beautifully patterned and brilliantly colored, this enameled metal vase is the work of the celebrated French enamel artist Camille Fauré (1874–1956). Fauré’s signature style was floral and figurative motifs rendered in deep, saturated hues. Working in Limoges, the historic center of French enamel, he pioneered techniques that pushed the medium into new artistic territory and today he is widely regarded as the greatest creative enamel artist of the Art Deco era.
