This heirloom piece is cast and hand finished by our traditional bench jeweler, an artisan that has been working with fine metals for more than fifty years. The Ancient Greeks worshiped the stunningly plumed bird because they believed that Zeus's wife Hera created the fowl's abstract plumage when her loyal watchmen Argus was killed by Hermes and she placed his eyes on the peacock's tail as an everlasting tribute to his loyalty.
