The night rose in this heady botanical perfume is a Damask rose, a variety originally from Damascus, part of the ancient Persian Empire, that was brought to Europe and other regions in the 14th century by knights returning from the Crusades. Grown in the Isparta region of Turkey it is harvested in spring and only at night, a few hours before sunrise. The unique topography, climate, and soil in the region, as well as this nocturnal harvesting method, create a more vivid, full-spectrum bouquet with intense green notes.
An exotic elixir of honeyed florals and ancient woods, resin, and spice, Delta Dawn has powerful aphrodisiac properties. Jasmine has been used for centuries to arouse the baser animal instincts and supercharge the libido.
