The base of this rich body and massage oil is a blend of pure Argan oil from a women-owned and operated collective in Morocco and fresh Sonoran jojoba oil from the American Southwest. A natural pairing, both vitamin rich oils absorb quickly and leave skin soft and moisturized with a healthy glow.
One of the most precious and extravagant essential oils on earth, neroli is extracted from the blossom of the bitter orange tree and has been used since ancient times to relieve “nervousness” and as an aid to spiritual healing. A seductive, naturally aphrodisiac oil, aromatherapists use neroli to calm the mind and body, and to relieve tension, making space for intimacy, arousal, and sensuality.
Warm, mellow, and leathery, amber oil is thought to be naturally aphrodisiac, increasing circulation and stimulating the libido.
Neroli
The name “neroli” harkens back to the late 17th century when the Italian royal Anne Marie Orsini, Duchess of Bracciano and Princess of Nerola, fell in love with the ambrosial air that wafted off of the orange groves in the spring. So enamored with the scent, she had the blossoms from the bitter orange trees distilled into oil and used the extracted concentration to perfume her gloves and scent her bath water, creating a craze for the honeyed perfume at her court.
