Each rose adds its own depth – the light, earthen sensuality of Moroccan rose, the honeyed sweetness of blossoms from the famed Valley of Roses in Bulgaria, and the tender, green freshness of heirloom roses grown in the temperate fields of Cherry Valley. A small amount goes a long way with this ultra-rich skin rejuvenating balm. A superlative and light créme for skin that needs extra hydration and an incredible hand balm that can also be run through the hair to defrizz and add softness and shine.

Please note that the melting point of the pommade is 75 degrees F and this means that during the warmer months, the pommade may arrive in a liquid state. If that happens, just put it in a cool place or in the refrigerator before opening and the pommade will become solid again. Pommade should always be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat and sunlight. If a cool enough spot is not available during the warmer months, pommade should be kept refrigerated. As with any of our products, please spot test for adverse reactions before use and discontinue if irritation occurs. Please consult with a physician before using if pregnant or breastfeeding. This crème is scented with a rare triad of Moroccan rose oil, Bulgarian rose absolute, and a local rose enfleurage from New York called the "New Dawn" rose. This variety of rose is a natural mutation of the 19th century "Dr. W. Van Fleet" climbing rose and was first discovered in NJ in the 1930s. A classically American rose, it has a light silvery pink hue with a powdery scent that has notes of apple.
Our New Dawn rose oil is created by hand using the ancient scent extraction method of enfleurage, a laborious process in which the flower oils are extracted using time and not heat or chemical solvents. The wonderful oil created is much truer to the experience of the living plant.
