Made by highly skilled, traditional eyewear craftsman each incredibly lightweight frame takes at least 6 weeks of meticulous care to create – they are hand dyed, subjected to 3 rounds of hand polishing, and the lenses are made of the highest grade nylon available. And – of particular interest to us – Smoke x Mirrors selects materials that are more sustainable than most of the eyewear out there, like a cellulose acetate for frames that is hypoallergenic, non-petroleum based, and made from renewable resources like cotton and wood fibers.
