Inspired by one of our favorite talismans from our personal curio collection, Grass and Shadows is a solid sterling silver spoon tool for our lip and cheek colors, salves, and solid perfumes. This heirloom piece is cast and hand finished by our traditional bench jeweler, an artisan that has been working with fine metals for more than fifty years. In ancient myths, snakes are often related as seers of the future or some sort of intermediary between humans and the gods. A sacred animal, the snake is also a symbol of renewal and rebirth because of the way that they shed their outer layer of skin and emerge transformed.
