Description
Hand carved and polished solid obsidian box. The deep black obsidian is mined communally in the Mexican state of Hidalgo and worked by hand in a workshop near the Pyramid of the Moon in Teotihuacán. A smooth, glass-like volcanic rock, obsidian has been a tool of healing for thousands of years and is said to counter fear, anxiety, and anger, and to clear negative energy from the psyche.
Sizing & Info
Each box is handmade and slightly different from any other. Each piece is approximately 2 1/2" tall with a diameter of roughly 2 1/4".
