Alana Biffert
Alana Biffert is a master glass artist based in Calgary, Canada. Majoring in glasswork, Alana completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Alberta College of Art & Design and went on to complete additional coursework in Venetian Glass Blowing at the Corning Museum of Glass in New York State. Alana has worked as a glass blowing instructor at numerous institutions in Canada and abroad, and has also collaborated with notable glass artists around the world. Alana’s extraordinary glass art has been widely exhibited at installations in Canada and the United States, and she has authored and contributed to a wide variety of art publications.
