The heart of Aurea is an extraordinary animalic jasmine, elegant and carnal, whose natural sensuality is softened and illuminated by rare pomelo blossom. Earthy and slightly bourbonic vetiver from a tea estate in Kenya grounds the composition, adding depth and complexity while allowing the florals to remain luminous and expansive. The finished and rested scent is remarkably reminiscent of fresh lilacs in the sultry late afternoon sun, softly nectarous and touched with mineralic high summer fruit.

The bottle was hand blown by a glass artisan in New York State for this edition of Aurea. The dabber is hand shaped into a strawberry blossom and the glass is referred to as “ghost opal”, a luminous shade that exists somewhere between moonlight and mist. Transparent but softly white, the glass catches and diffuses light with a soft, opalescent glow.
