Description
Conus Striatus shell specimen from 1972, found in Bohol in the Philippines. Beautiful, but highly venomous, carnivorous, and predatory – the conus immobilizes its prey with its proboscis, a small harpoon-like, tongue-like tooth, that darts out and injects its potent toxin.
