Dangerous Pleasures is a soft, powdery floral perfume oil created with pure, voluptuous tuberose. Known as "the carnal flower", tuberose has long been associated with nocturnal sensuality. It was viewed by the prudish Victorians as dangerously provocative, they thought the heady scent of the exhaling flower to be erotically charged and capable of overwhelming impressionable young women with spontaneous orgasms. Because of its notorious reputation, the Victorians adopted tuberose as a symbol of dangerous love, using the flower in bouquets to convey seduction and primal desire.
