For an ecological alternative to conventional cut flowers this Valentine's Day, we collaborated with paper flower master, Sandra Gaestel of Harley Rose Studio. A lush and vibrant bunch based on the Kindred Black signature floral, the painterly assortment of peonies, roses, daffodils, iris, and fresh greens are all made of hand dyed Italian and German crepe paper, and expertly molded into a lifelike group of delicate and intricate stemmed flowers that will last for years.

Founder and owner of Harley Rose Studio, Sandra Gaestel, began crafting coffee filter flowers as gifts and party favors for her friends and family. Over the years, the self-taught paper floral designer has honed her craft with high-quality Italian and German crepe paper, hand dyed their vibrant shades using natural ingredients such as avocado, cabbage, beets, and flowers petals. Each piece is then hand painted with chalk or paint and expertly molded to gracefully imitate the beauty of blossoms found in nature.
