Holy Wood is an aromatherapeutic pulse point oil distilled from the sacred palo santo tree. Palo santo is spanish for “saint wood” or “holy wood”. This earthy and citrusy oil is from a family owned distillery in Ecuador where the wood is sustainably harvested on their own land and the oil is distilled from the heartwood of fallen palo santo trees.
Palo Santo is thought to help clear negative energy and to have a grounding and calming effect – some say that those that harbor negative energy react to the scent of palo santo like “dracula to garlic”. A mood enhancer, it is used extensively in aromatherapy to combat anxiety and depression and to assist in meditation and making a spiritual connection.
