Handmade with naturally aphrodisiac flowers, resins, and spices, Porphyria’s Lover was created to kindle a slow, languid warmth in the senses. A heart note of sweet, honeyed Bulgarian rose is anchored by the mineral, slightly smoky notes of Omani black frankincense. Tuberose lends the floral profile an airy, lighthearted note, and patchouli an earthy, velvety base. A subtle spark of cinnamon leaf and black pepper adds gentle heat to arouse the senses and imparts a spicy complexity to the lush, confection-like flowers and resins.
