Description
Hand-lacquered black box adorned with gold leaves and and four bright, lively birds. This box was handmade in Kashmir shortly after the independence of India from the British in 1947. Kashmir is a beautiful region in the valley separating the Great Himalayan mountain range and the Pir Panjal range.
