Vintage shark tooth pendant set in solid 14K gold on an Italian chain of 14K gold and coral bead work. Sharks lose teeth and replace them over the course of their lives so teeth for jewelry are found and collected. They have long been worn by various cultures as a talisman of protection against any dangers of the sea.
