Sizing + Info

These boots run narrow but are cut in such a way that they will break in and mold to the foot over time. However, if you are between sizes we recommend sizing up. Also, the “throat” of the boot at the ankle is intentionally cut slightly undersized so that you can depend on the elasticity of the leather to open up and then close down after your foot is in. This is done to create a nice snug heel that doesn’t slip when you walk. From Victor – “If you think you can’t get in ‘em, yeah you can!” It does take a bit of pushing at first.

Stewart Boots

Located on a largely empty, industrial side-street in South Tucson, Stewart Boots is housed in a one-story, adobe brick shop that was opened in 1940 by master boot craftsman Ronnie Stewart. Taken over by Victor Borg in 1970, Stewart Boots became a thriving business with 44 boot makers working on over 1000 pairs of boots a month, supplying 150 western specialty stores in 35 states. Now a tiny staff that includes Victor, his wife Linda, and 4 master boot makers, the shop is one of the last places still making fully handmade cowboy boots in the USA. “Everything but the nails is made right here in this building in Tucson” boasts Victor. No corners are cut in this shop – the leather is made and tanned in the USA, dyed all the way through so the boots never lose their color, and is pre-shrunk piece by piece so getting caught in the rain doesn’t affect the size and fit of the boots. The simple and classic 0124 Boot was designed by Ronnie Stewart in 1946 and not a stitch on the best-selling style has been changed since.
