Our pure Rhassoul Lava Clay from the Atlas Mountain region in Morocco is a natural mineral mask rich in silica, magnesium, iron, calcium, and potassium. This fine powdered clay has been used for centuries as soap, shampoo, a face and body mask, and to purify, detoxify, nourish, and cleanse the skin.Used as a shampoo and hair mask, Detox Clay is fantastic for deeply cleansing the hair, removing dead skin cells from the scalp, getting rid of excess oil, and improving the overall health and strength of the hair. This pure, natural clay is packaged in hand carved, pure Teotihuacán obsidian mined communally in the Mexican state of Hidalgo and worked by hand in a workshop near the Pyramid of the Moon in Teotihuacán.

Created with mane-nourishing hinoki wood oil, a light and earthy oil with lemony undertones distilled from the aromatic bark of the Japanese cypress, blended with a bright, enlivening yuzu oil in a base of precious, vitamin rich prickly pear and argan oils. Our hinoki oil is sustainably sourced from a traditional maker of Japanese cypress tubs in Japan, who instead of discarding the leftover wood learned to steam distill essential oil from the wasted material.
