Henryk Winograd
Henryk Winograd was one of the masters of 20th-century traditional silversmithing and the leading American practitioner of the historic art of repoussé. Born in Poland to Russian parents and descended from a lineage of silversmiths who once served the Czar, Winograd was trained in classical metalwork from an early age. After several years of military service, he immigrated to the United States in the 1970s, where he established himself as a singular talent known for his extraordinary technical skill and sculptural detail.
