The Skirt Chronicles is an independent French publication founded by friends Sarah de Mavaleix, Sofia Nebiolo, and Haydée Touitou. A celebration of different cultures and generations, the women do not adhere to any specific guidelines when it comes to choosing their content – the founders derive great joy from this freedom and feature a diverse array of works and subjects, curating their aesthetic according to their current mood and feeling when working on an issue. Titled with the realization that their unique perspective is decidedly feminine, the trio of editors strive to create a creative space that doesn’t exclude anyone and maintains its relevance long past the issue date.
