Cropped classic sweater tee with laddered detail at center front. Made with Japanese organic cotton sweater knit fabric and sewn at a family-run factory in New York.
Titania Inglis describes her namesake collection as lush minimalism – garments designed and engineered to be visually striking yet easy-to-wear. Powerful and feminine details govern her designs resulting in an array of uncommon pieces that complement and enhance the basic elements of a wardrobe and often add a hint of dark sex appeal.
Equally minimal is the line’s environmental impact. Each garment is sewn in a small, family-owned factory in New York from high-quality, low-impact fabrics including Japanese organic cotton, Italian vegetable-tanned leather, Italian recycled lycra, and dead stock wool from the local garment industry. Titania is the winner of the 2012 Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation award in Sustainable Design and was a finalist for the 2013 CFDA/Lexus Eco-Fashion Challenge.
