Crossing Boundaries
This year, for our annual celebration of Cat Nights, we thought about the plants and places that we cross and re-cross, and attempted to trace through botanicals the most important landscapes that we prowled through over the past year. Linden lining the streets of Brooklyn and floating on the breeze in Venice, pinyon pine and yerba santa from Arizona’s Verde Valley, cliffrose growing wild in the rocky hillsides of Sedona, and bergamot mint, naturalized along a little creek near the Verde River. Two new perfumes that together form a scent map of the most recent Kindred Black wanderings.
